Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy sessions are specifically designed to meet the individual needs of each client. Yoga therapy sessions may involve the use of Embodyment (a gentle, non-invasive, healing modality specializing in releasing the deepest layers of tension in the body), breathing techniques, yoga therapy techniques ( a series of simple Svaroopa yoga poses in which the client is fully supported helping the client to release deep areas of tension and pain), or individualized instruction for a home routine to help support the process.
Yoga therapy can be used to address serious health concerns such as Fibromyalgia, arthritis, sciatica, MS, migraines, spinal disc problems, and more. Sessions help dissolve pain, improve mental outlook, reduce stress, provide deep release of physical tension, and facilitate health on all levels.
One Hour Session $65

Massage Therapy
The use of massage therapy for healing, health, and wellness dates back thousands of years. The overall benefits of massage therapy are innumerable; spanning from deep relaxation and stress reduction to improved circulation and freedom from pain. Serene Yoga and Healing offers full body Relaxation Massage as well as Therapeutic and Deep Tissue Massage.
Relaxation/Swedish Massage
A self-nurturing experience; this massage uses longer, gentler strokes along with kneading and friction along the muscles and typically involves a full body treatment (head, neck/shoulders, upper/lower back, limbs, feet, and abdomen). Benefits may include deep relaxation, improved sleep, increased circulation, an easing of tensions throughout the body. Receiving Swedish massage on a regular basis promotes an overall feeling of wellness and ease in the body, mind, and heart.
One hour Session $65 ; Half hour Session $35
Therapeutic/Deep Tissue Massage
Incorporates the use of many different massage/bodywork modalities in order to address specific areas of tension and structural issues in the body. This type of massage can be used toward improving overall health as well as working on more specific health issues. The therapy uses patterns of strokes and deep finger pressure on parts of the body where muscles are tight or knotted, focusing on layers of muscle deep under the skin. Benefits may include freedom from chronic muscular or joint pain, improved range of movement, and an increase in the flow of lymph aiding in improved immune system functioning.

Vichara
Vichara means self inquiry, the process of looking inward to see what is hidden just beneath the surface of your mind. Vichara is a dialoging process which helps to dissolve deep seated mental and emotional patterns. Just as yoga poses clear away tight spots in your body, Vichara clears the tight spots in your mind. As the old patterns clear away the clarity, inner peace, and joy that is truly your natural state become more accessible. Vichara is a verbal process and does not involve yoga poses or techniques. As the mind holds tension so does the body and when one releases so does the other, very often Vichara helps to shift physical patterns as well.
